Welcome to The Garden Restaurant - we are a buffet restaurant that provides delicious Asian and local favourite meals in the heart of Christchurch City. Open for lunch and dinner 7 days a week, we are part of the Garden Hotel Complex and can also provide breakfast for those staying in the hotel. Our menu soups, fried food, international cuisine, seafood and carvery - but what we are really known for are our mouth-watering desserts! Be sure to try our hot date sticky pudding with custard sauce or the famous New Zealand pavlova. Our relaxed and friendly environment is perfect for any occasion - from a family meal out to an intimate meal for two. Good for groups as it is cheap. Food is always hot but lacking in variety these days. Need more desserts too.

Not many options for vegetarians and vegans, but still good. Great place for big groups. Has improved A LOT in the past few years. Food fresh and tasty, staff helpful and friendly

Great location with lots of parking. The selection of food is excellent of options. Love the Chinese food and the selection of salads. Very reasonably priced.

Had a nice time here. Food was good , had a good selection to choose from. Staff were good and gave good service. Easy parking. The place was nice and clean.
