Welcome to The Garden Restaurant - we are a buffet restaurant that provides delicious Asian and local favourite meals in the heart of Christchurch City. Open for lunch and dinner 7 days a week, we are part of the Garden Hotel Complex and can also provide breakfast for those staying in the hotel. Our menu soups, fried food, international cuisine, seafood and carvery - but what we are really known for are our mouth-watering desserts! Very good buffet selection at Garden restaurant! Came here for a birthday and the food was delicious! Prices are god, staff are very friendly and prompt with service and clearing tables. Nice atmosphere. Parking right outside.

Clean and good value for money. Food was good but not many healthy options, a lot of deep fried etc. Very busy place but never had to que for anything.

The buffet was pretty good, the food was well priced and tasted good, however it wasn’t quite at the quality I was expecting. Overall a decently pleasant experience.

Me and my sister came here about 4 months ago and i must say i didnt really enjoy the food much it didnt taste like it used too i had the same selection of food as i got last time, but it just didnt taste as nice as i had it last time, it was a shame maybe i think there is new owners im not sure. my sister wasnt overly impressed with the food either but the service was good lady came with water and glasses witch was nice and there was 2 chocolates on out table witch was nice, the price has gone up too. overall i give it a 3
