Welcome to The Garden Restaurant - we are a buffet restaurant that provides delicious Asian and local favourite meals in the heart of Christchurch City. Open for lunch and dinner 7 days a week, we are part of the Garden Hotel Complex and can also provide breakfast for those staying in the hotel. Our menu soups, fried food, international cuisine, seafood and carvery - but what we are really known for are our mouth-watering desserts! Be sure to try our hot date sticky pudding with custard sauce or the famous New Zealand pavlova. Our relaxed and friendly environment is perfect for any occasion - from a family meal out to an intimate meal for two. Me my partner and kids went for dinner here, it was amazing, huge range of food and it was topped up frequently so it was hot and fresh :) so cheap aswell and man was I full haha. Best buffet in chch hands down

Room service is great. Reasonable price and delicious dish. Very helpful staff as well.

The buffet, great value for money. Love the wide range of food, although could have more desserts.

I'm sorry my love but this just isn't my cup of tea. I thought I would give buffet dining a go but it wasn't my cuppa. I was lucky however on my visit to discover vegetarian sushi so I fill my plate multiple times with that. The rest of the food had a very glossy appearance to at and didn't appeal at all. The atmosphere was like a low quality food hall with noisy families. The price was close to $30 before that I think I'd rather go to an actual restaurant and Order a main and a nice dessert.
