Dominator Citywide Doors

I have experienced really bad customer service from these guys and wouldn't recommend them.

The guy who turned up on the day to repair the door was great. He said it would have to be sent up to Auckland for inspection and repair. He said it would take 1-2 weeks max. No issues there.

After 2 weeks, having heard nothing from them about the problem or when i can expect the door to be fixed i called them on Tuesday 20/11. The lady said they were almost at my unit, only 5 units were ahead of mine and it should be done within 1-2 days.

I didn't hear from them so I called them back on the Friday (3rd day) asking again for an update / ETA of the repairs. This lady initially said it had been sent to Auckland so she couldn't find out, but eventually agreed to "see what i can do" and call me back (one would assume they have a way to contact their repair factory in Auckland via phone or email).

I never heard back so I called them again on the following Monday. I got the same lady, again just asking for an update. She said she'd check for me, i asked when i should expect to hear from her as she never got back to me on Friday. She said she'd call me in 20 minutes. She never called.

Also, the timeless for the initial guy turning up on the day was great, but since then everything seems to be taking a long time. I still don't know when they'll actually get the door working and it has cost more than multiple staff thought it would.. to quote one of their staff "i'd be very surprised if it's more than $250" - and quote eventually came back for $450.

It's a negative review from me, wouldn't recommend them.
