Wagamama New Lynn

Nothing frustrates me more than dining out somewhere with limited car parking. But thats not the case here at all, lots and lots of carparks to chose from. And then its just a short stroll into the restaurant. Modern decor and an awesome layout of the dining area. The kitchen area is open which is cool, and you can see the chefs working away on your meals. The menu is quite big, and alot of different dishes to suit all palettes. I havent had the dessert here, but the main dishes and the dumplings are yummy.

When we came here I had never had Japanese food before so I was a bit apprehensive I wasn't going to like it but now this is one of my favourites. This place has such yummy food and it came out very quickly, and the restaurant had a good atmosphere

We like the entrees here - and order a bunch of them (like tapas but with an asian flavour) - it's not cheap, but its quick, flavourful and fun - the teens love it and we can easily feed the coeliac in our midst.

Great location, great decor and attentive staff. The staff are really warm, and very chatty with customers. They walk around the restaurant asking everyone if they are ok and/or need anything else. I recommend the fire cracker, it tastes exactly as described!!! The steamed dumplings are also really good. I didnt really enjoy my dessert though, I ordered the deep fried banana which wasnt very nice.

his place sure has a great vibe but the food was average and overpriced. Regardless my friend and I had a great time here. I love the ambience it’s so hip yet so chic. I would def go again and try more food
