General Info
The Postman’s Leg is a vibrant, unique take on gastropubs that has locals flocking together for a beer and a bite, enjoying the expansive courtyard. Long before the dog and bone, news spread as far as the postman could roam. Legend tells of a Glenfield hero, a postie who left his mark. An amputee by virtue of a sawmilling tragedy, he refused to let this put him on the back foot. Fashioning a D.I.Y. harness for his horse, he simply changed careers. For 16 years, rain, hail or canine, he provided a lifeline to the locals. So charge your glass as we salute a man with an iron will and a leg of wood.

I ordered fish&chips and woodfire pizza from here and it was very tasty. We sat outside which was very refreshing and eating lunch in the sun was great. The staff were very lovely and friendly too.

Favourite place to take the kids if wanting to go out for a drink. The outside playground keeps them busy for hours. Meals are pretty good at good prices. Soft drinks are ridiculously overpriced though. Plenty of parking and always has a good atmosphere.

This pub is popular for the mothers and they love to bring their children here to play on the playground but I had a bad experience with my group in here this week. When I visited here, 4 waitress worked here and they were not busy, only 3 tables they had at that time. No one welcomed and didn't give the menu. I asked for the menu later but one of waitress said she will give to me later when she complete her job first- but she held the menu on her hands at the time. Also no-one came to us to get the order so again I tried to find someone to get our orders. We ordered the food with coffees but coffee came when we nearly finish our food. In addition, the baby highchair was really disgusting. Seems like they never clean the baby chair and I worried about hygiene issue. As I mentioned they are popular place for the mothers and children and I still can't understand how the baby chairs are so dirty. Hope they improve their services and hygieneissue.

I’ve met friends here many times over the years. Last time I went we sat outside in the sunshine, listening to live music, & had a decent pub meal.
