The Lodge Cafe

Enjoyed my eggs bene here today the portions were great and eggs cooked perfectly! The creamy mushroom was very yummy. Ordered some pancakes off the kids menu and they were yummy and fluffy!!

Food was rather good for breakfast. Efficient and polite service. Parking is tricky

Sarurday brunch. Cheery welcome from a beautiful waitress. Clean, well set out large cafe. We sat outside where the hedge gave privacy but we were close to the interior and had a view of the city skyline and across most of the cafe. Staff were all female and very friendly. Food was excellent and we left nothing. Coffee was hot and taste was great. When not serving, our waitress was dusting. As diners left, tables were quickly cleared and throughly wiped clean. Prices were very good. What a great experience that will definitely be repeated!

This is a little Mt Albert secret....hidden in a suburban motel is quite an awesome cafe. I highly recommend the sweet corn and feta fritters. There is a great kids menu too with loads of choice which can be hard to find in Auckland! Go on...try it!
