The Lodge Cafe

Food was rather good for breakfast. Efficient and polite service. Parking is tricky

Sarurday brunch. Cheery welcome from a beautiful waitress. Clean, well set out large cafe. We sat outside where the hedge gave privacy but we were close to the interior and had a view of the city skyline and across most of the cafe. Staff were all female and very friendly. Food was excellent and we left nothing. Coffee was hot and taste was great. When not serving, our waitress was dusting. As diners left, tables were quickly cleared and throughly wiped clean. Prices were very good. What a great experience that will definitely be repeated!

This little cafe was pumping when we parked which is always a good sign. There was still space for 2 which was great! We just popped in for coffee and cake and I sure as heck would come back and try more. Great hot drinks, lovely staff, reasonably efficient given how busy they were, there display food was incredible!!! We had a scone and a muffin and both were so fresh/moist that I would highly recommend. Great little neighbourhood cafe!

Generous portion big breakfast, great option for brunch.

Multiple visits now, and it never disappoints!! Great food (tasty & huge portions), staff are so lovely, chatty & fun, the place is clean and bright and has a lovely view over to the city. Highly recommend.
