This is a great korean fusion restaurant. Love the interior & ambience of the place. It looks like a small cafe from the entrance but there is a large covered outdoors seating at the back.
Couldnt fault the service nor the food. Beautifully presented tasty food. We had the kimchi fries & chilli chicken. Both were great. Will definitely come back to try other dishes on the menu

With a gorgeous courtyard, this is a great spot to eat and relax during your lunch break or an after-work feed. I haven't been here since January 2017 when it was relatively new because it was relatively expensive for its portions, but its been on Zomato Gold since the beginning so a second visit was definitely overdue. Its also conveniently close to uni. The beautiful 'secret garden' courtyard is still the same but the menu has changed up with variety of Korean fusion options. Their Kimchi Fried Rice, which you can pair with pork belly or tempura prawn, is clearly a popular choice with three of us ordering it, whilst I got the Kimchi Pasta - a rarity for me to eat kimchi but a neat twist to the traditional pasta. We also ordered the Tempura Fish Waffle Fries and a Soft Shell Crab Bao to share but the mains were definitely better.

Fantastic food, recommend the share platters that will be more than enough for 2 people. The garden area is buzzy and full of life but indoors offers a more intimate setting

The Kimchi Project in Lorne St down from the art gallery was an absolute treat to finally get to visit and enjoy Korean inspired fusion food. The staff, although super busy, was accommodating and welcoming despite a busy triple group function sat out bar in their highly impressive oriental adorned courtyard, picturesque and reminiscent of a ornate Asian Zen garden.
I decided to try the spicy soft crab Bao and the Kimchi style laksa with prawn and calamari. The laksa has to be THE BEST laksa I’ve ever tried, it was flavoursome, appropriately spiced with ample meat, vegetables and vermcelli noodles and an abundance of silky smooth soup. My spicy soft crab Bao was exceptional too, crispy, flavoursome, packing a punch with the pickled vegetable and the crab was clean tasting and fleshy. Truly amazing and well worth several more visits to get through the menu! Highly recommended with distinction!

Feels like stumbling upon the city's best kept secret. Not much to look at from the small front entrance but once you're inside you'll see the beautiful courtyard setting. Mid-range prices on a pretty varied menu. So, great food and great atmosphere. Can't wait to go back!
