**The Crab Shack** is the home of seafood lovers in Auckland, offering a plethora of mouth watering crab, mussels, cockles, calamari, prawns clams and so much more! We are one of two Cape Cod-inspired restaurants, located in prime time locations in Auckland, and in Wellington, nestled on central waterfront homes.

Went for my mums 60th birthday at the end od July. Food was good, service was good. Crabs was amazing my mum loves seafood and she throughly enjoyed it. Not the flashest place to dine but good for a bit of family fun.

We came here as we were strolling past at lunch hour undecided on what to have. We went straight for the seafood: Seafood chowder, assorted cloudy bay clams, the King Crab, and the mussel fritters: mostly to share. The wait staff were very jovial, friendly. Definitely we will return.

The clams and mussels cooked in white wine, chilli and garlic is always my favourite option. I recommend ordering some of their buns to soak up the delicious broth. We also ordered the swimmer crabs in chilli garlic butter, good flavour but unfortunately twice now the crab meats has been on the mushy side.

Good and knowledgeable service. Big portions and some unusual menu items worth trying if they take your fancy. King crab is on the menu. A variety of seating options, indoor and also out covered with natural light. On the list for going again and was happy with the meal.
