      Love this fish and chip shop. Used to love just down the road and would visit every 1-2 weeks. The chips were always cooked well, loved the hot dog and potato fritters. Reasonable prices for the quality - not sure what people are complaining about the prices for, $3 a scoop is standard. The lady at the counter would remember my order each time I went in and was very friendly.

      Very expensive fish and chips, not worth it in this reviewers opinion! $3 a scoop and 3.50 a holi which was rather small, chips were small and undercooked. However was a clean establishment staff are friendly enough . I ordered squid ring which was yuck ! I usually enjoy them....

      The Chip Basket in Glenfield is a gem I have only recently discovered but I am so glad I did! They're open by lunch time and have a wonderful range of burgers with great taste and fresh salads, fresh seafood and of course perfectly made fish and chips!
