The Attic Bar & Restaurant

It's a wonderful bar in Mission Bay to enjoy alfresco drinks and nibbles overlooking the park and seaside. The menu is very extensive and the food is lovely with good portion size, although I'm more inclined to come back for impressive cocktails or wine and the view.

We got a firsttable voucher for a relaxed and quiet saturday evening in mission bay. I was surprised of the quality of food they served. The stuffed chicken with tagliatelle pasta and vegetables was absolutely delicious! I would definitely come back for this dish in the future (and pay full price). The sauce made me swoon. Vegetable cooked to perfection. We eat out every weekend and I rarely finish my meal (small eater, gets full easily). This one however, I thoroughly enjoyed and although I still was not able to finish the chicken, I devoured the pasta. In total I managed like 7/8 of my meal. Yey! Also the dumplings were scrumptious. Partner had the pork ribs and garlic bread which were also good.

They make the best Ribs, and it is so worth the money you pay for. The portion also is generous. Good customer service.

This is by far the best place in Auckland to eat ribs, they are to die for. The service is also excellent and they have a great selection of beers. I really love going there for a ribs night with friend because it is a good value.

Went just last night in as walk ins for our flatmates birthday and had the Monday night ribs special - $20 for 1kg of pork ribs. Food was great, massive serving and the chips served on the side were fantastic (and very hot!) Service was attentive but not crowding and our poor waitress put up with the cruddy chat up attempts from my flatmate - sorry about that, we'll leave him at home next time!

Looking forward to trying 2-for-1 cocktails on Wednesday night too!
