Rice Kitchen Japanese Takeaways

This local takeaway is quite popular with the locals. We came and tried their different bento boxes(at $17 each) and especially liked their chicken - chicken teriyaki, chicken katsu and chicken karaage over their beef choices. Quite good portions. We'll be back!

I definitely recommend stopping in for a bowl and grabbing a mochi for dessert on your way out - the strawberry cream one was fantastic!

Small shop which I think used to be an antique store. Good food but expensive. Cooked by Japanese people so definitely authentic japanese food.

Used to be a regular here when i worked nearby but came back today after many years. Was very disappointed with my sushi which cost $9.80 and had very little filling. It felt like eating plain rice flavoured with soya sauce and wasabi. Guess this is one place I wont miss not being able to go to for lunch anymore.
