Phoenix Tyres & Car Repairs

I have always found Phoenix Tyres to be helpful and fairly priced. They have always serviced my vehicles and I think are competitively priced and very competent with their workmanship.

Went to them with a few issues, and they sorted them out with a great turn around time. have been to them for a WOF a couple of times and there have been no dramas.

I turned up without an appointment.
Fred and team attended to me immediately.
Efficient, quick, friendly service.
I was grateful.
I will return to get a few more things done to ensure my car remains safe.

Worst Service- NOT TO VISIT FOR MECHANICAL REPAIR - I went for WOF of my car after looking sign of $20 on road. They charged $25 and not allowed me to garage during inspection. At the end, they rejected WOF for car saying need replacement of front wheels bush which will cost $300 to pass it. When I visited my regular mechanic, he inspected and informed everything is fine with front wheels and passed WOF.

Cheap isn’t always good

Have been using this service for quite a while for regular maintenance and WOF and have always been satisfied. Fast , always available and cheap .
But today had quite an unpleasant experience. Had to go there with the 3 month baby not only for maintenance , but also to change tyres. Booked the same day on the phone . That was my first time when I was changing tyres , I didn’t know that there is a special key to unlock the wheel. The worker called me and said they couldn’t find the key in the car . And advised to go check with the official car representative. I went a long way to this service and I had to change them today , as it was dangerous to drive . When I came to the representative, they found the key inside and actually saved me some money .
I came back to the car shop and spent another 20 mins there with the crying baby :( when I said that the service wasn’t quite good , I got quite a rude reply . So if you in a situation , when you need a bit more care as a customer ..I believe that won’t be the place
Very disappointed and won’t go there again
