Set in a very relaxing garden atmosphere this little cafe has much to offer for a wuick bite. I had a delicious strawberry milkshake after a long walk. Next door is a nice shop with lots of local made arts and crafts

We visited Persimmon Tree Cafe for coffee and cake. The cakes and drinks were very nice. The staff were pleasant but a little slow to get our cakes to us.

Surprisingly popular for how incredibly average this cafe is. The range, quality and prices are far better at the nearby Pirongia Village Cafe, although Persimmon Tree cafe does have oodles of offstreet parking.
The Rasberry smoothie was great, everything else pretty so-so, and all was at Auckland downtown prices

Love this cafe and it's grounds, perfect for a spring or summertime 'picnic' with space for the kids to run.
Good food, a little pricey but just lovely overall.

Great little cafe in a quiet location. Coffee was hot and food really fresh. Would stop again on our way through.
