Portage Wheel Aligning is a awesome place. They fixed my car's problem, while two other workshops could not even found the cause.

The problem was: Engine and dashboard lights pulse, when idle and driving. Can hear some noise when starting up.

I came to Bridgestone Select parnell first, they charged for checking and diagnosis. They replaced a PCV hose and I payed about 230 in total, but the exact same problem still exists.


Later I took the car to New Lynn Motors and Tyre Services. They do checking and diagnosis for free(that's good). However, they could not found the cause of the problem. They suspect it might be electrical problem instead of mechanical problem.

Finally went to Portage Wheel Aligning. They diagnose it as a alternator problem. I payed about 335 and they replaced it with a second hand alternator. The problem got totally fixed. Awesome.

Jason and Alistair are nice and easy to communicate. Will go there again for the next repair or service.
