Melba Hillsborough

My husband and I went here for an impromtu lunch the other day - the staff were helpful but not hovering. chilled water at the table for free. The blackboard special was Slow braised bork belly on roti with siriracha coleslaw and the portions were HUGE. very good value for money and we will be returning.

Great coffee and quick service. Some great cafe staples along with some new and more modern lunch dishes - fried chicken and waffles! Plenty of tables and good table space if you’re wanting a working lunch spot. Also quick service, ideal if you taking staff in a lunch break.

Melba you can't go wrong with food, drinks and excellent service. Smashed avocado and gourmet chicken sandwich was generously portioned and so delicious I loved it

Absolutely love this cafe. Always has a busy happy vibe and staff are excellent. The food is in great sized portions and there is seating both inside and out. Also has great parking at back.

Fabulous place to have lunch, the “Toasties” are to die for, they come with a wee salad and the most yummy Waffle fries with a little side bowel of either chutney or aioli. Fabulous coffees and teas. Nice little side idea, you have the choice of either sparkling or still water for the table. Wish they were open for dinner. Here’s hoping
