One of the very best places to get records and CD in Auckland. Been going for 82 years, and well known for its extensive range of vinyl and CD's, and personalised service. Good prices, great service - and very knowledgeable staff. Recommended. Store is in the lovely Queens Arcade in lower Queen Street - a great little arcade to find unusual and specialist gift shops.

Marbeck's is a store where the staff live music. What they don't know about records and music isn't worth knowing. They have all genres of music and a huge stock. They offer online services, but if you get the chance to visit a store and just flick through all the record covers, you'll be transported back decades and recall some seriously great music of days gone by. They have up-to-date music too, but their vinyl selection is amazing. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff either. If it isn't in stock, but still available, they'll buy it in for you. Highly recommended.

Awesome live music, great place to go

Excellent to see that there no no complete phase out of CDs, this store is brilliant in that the staff really know their products, I adore movie soundtracks, and if you cannot locate one they will promptly order it for you. They have special imports as well, even before the movie is released sometimes! I hope this store remains.
