Mamak Malaysian Restaurant

This Malaysian restaurant never fail to impress us. Their food is really good as I know exactly what I am getting when thinking of heading there. Need to book a table during their peaking hours. That is a pity for us as we are always busy forgetting to do it.

I ordered chicken laksa and a roti. The food came out really quickly. Both of my dishes were fantastically delicious. The price was reasonable too.

Having tried MAMAK for the first time, I was super impressed with the service in terms of speed if being seated to ordering, to having my food delivered.

It's a very relaxed but friendly atmosphere and I was excited to try the Roti Canai with Chicken Curry, with a side of dressed broccoli and a milo dunosaur. I thoroughly enjoyed the curry chicken and could've enjoyed it more if it were super spicy. The only off putting element was the oiliness across the top however this didn't distract from the aromatic flavours.

The roti was crispy, flaky and accompanied the curry perfectly and the broccoli suited the dish very well.

I look forward to coming back again to try more of their menu and would highly recommend MAMAK. Almost forgot, my milo dinosaur was so cute and took me back to childhood!

Affordable street eats style Malaysian food that's good to visit with friends. I like their roti and laksa; other friends ordered char kway teow, nasi lemak, and kari sayur. Mains are well priced, around $14-15.

Very authentic food, tasty and good vegetarian selection friendly service. Busy atmosphere, not a place to linger but good for a quick meal with friends.
