Mamak Malaysian Restaurant

This is an older establishment in Chancery, they are good but the food wasn't really amazing, what you do get here is the consistency.

If you are in town and want to wander down for lunch, make sure you go either earlier than normal lunchtime hours or later, it gets packed and you could be wasting valuable lunch hours just waiting for a seat.

Good prices and tasty food

Great Malaysian food with a hint of Indian spices.
I like the roti canai and the curries.

Not place for Malaysian. It is in the disaster category. The seating is a bit awkward with a small number of tables inside and outside. That being said, the boss is stern as. Not a good start and I ordered my usual, chicken roti. There was more potato in the curry than chicken! And they weren't even good chicken pieces, with bones in and all the rest of it. The roti was also pretty burnt. Definitely on the steep side in terms of price.

One of my favourite Malaysian local with awesome lunch specials and I usually swap between the clay pot chicken rice and bami mee goreng which hit the spot all the time , highly recommended !
