      Closest thing to time travel I have ever experienced. I ordered prime rib and asked for horse radish. They brought out some very rough (coarse) horse radish and I was amazed that this would have been true to the time period of the revolutionary times this tavern was modeled after. Very authentic! And very excellent food and Ale!

      The food and experience was incredible. We were joined by 3 tables of people clothed in garb from that period. Surreal. Well worth the hour and half we drove back and forth. Love that peanut soup. Will go back
