This place is impressive and a must-do for every New Zealander and overseas visitors. I love the Scotts Hut recreation at the start - there is so much stuff that each time I visit theres something new. Adore the penguins - so cute. Managed to catch a shark feeding demo which was really interesting. Love the seshorses and seeing all the fish and aquatic life that you would see on a dive.

My kids absolutely loved the fish and the tunnel here. Its a great way to spend some family time and get some educational learning in at the same time.

I have been to Kelly Tarlton's on several occasions, but not in recent years. I won two free tickets in a competition, recently, so we travelled down to Auckland to revisit the aquarium. I'm glad I had free tickets because I got a shock at the entry prices. The aquarium is unique and visually stunning. If you had the time you could travel around and around all day, and not get bored. The penguins were on show as well, and the Everest display is interesting too. It would be much better value if the ticket price was halved, though.

Very expensive, havent been in some time and they have removed one of the best parts the ride around the penguins. The Stingrays were cool but only takes 2 hours a best to walk around unless you have small children which isnt worth $36. Also the only food place has a very limited supply and is very expensive, disappointing.

Visited this place with my family and every one of us enjoyed it. Especially the penguin cage and the walk through the tunnel where you can see sharks swimming above you. I would recommend it to any tourist exploring auckland
