Golden Fortune Chinese Restaurant

Lunch rush hour needs to book a table before going to there. We missed this point, then had to wait for a while though not too long. Good experience and tasty food. Would like to recommend to all as it is a nice place to enjoy your good dim sum.

Food was good, price was acceptable but service didn't impress us. Came here for yum char, the lady who pushes the trolley was just rude! First occassion was when I ask if there is any beef balls, she just mentioned no. Second time I asked, she said look from other trolleys. She should have the courtesy to order it for me, or help me check. Second occassion, I finally got some beef balls, she asked if we want to cut it. I think we were soft on our voice so she didn't quite hear it. So she repeated very loud and said "So do you want to cut it or not?!". We were shocked, I didn't bring it to the attention to the owner when I paid, I dont think it makes a difference as I have never encountered a good yum char experience in Auckland! Parking here is also quite hard to find!

The Freid noodle is very yummy. I always have lunch at there. Good boss. Cheap price. Nice restaurants

Enjoyed the Chinese food here, the chicken and beef chow mein are easily some of their best dishes. The staff are friendly, the service is quick and the restaurant is nice.

I'm a bit surprised with some of the other reviews. Yes, it's an expensive restaurant so go there only if you are prepared for 'high end' food and prices! Also it's a popular location in the heart of Market with great views so it will be very busy most of the time.
