Very expensive cakes, service is very average. The cakes do taste good but not worth the price.

Gateau House - East Tamaki.
Service here is really bad. Yesterday I ordered a Walnut Coffee Gateau cake on phone. I had to call again to confirm my order since the lady was not able to understand at all what I am ordering. She was not even aware of different sizes available in their store. I repeated few times that I need a standard and a petite cake.
Today when I reached gateau house to pick cake at 10.00 AM, it was not ready and the lady at the counter said they are still preparing the cake.
The worst part is when we cut the cake at my office it was completely frozen and was so hard to cut it. It looked amazing but tasted bad and few people also complained of feeling sick after having the cake.
I won't recommend this place to anyone.
