Visit here regularly, great staff and excellent coffee

The service is great and the food is always worth going in for. Parking is at a premium in the area although there is visitor parking outside in Edwin street building or park on Mt Eden road.

My wife and I went into gala cafe after reading a small review about it. It is in a cool location abc the staff were super nice. We ordered the classic mince on toast and eggs beni with salmon and it was so tasty. We also ordered the raw energy shake and a soy latte which were also tasty as. I will totally go back again.

I tried the French toast and my partner ordered the gala big breakfast, portion size is excellent and the price is slightly less in comparison to other cafes in the area. The French toast left me speechless as I was shoveling food into my mouth the whole time I have never had a better French toast. It could probably do with a bit more bacon but I just love bacon. Not bad. Will be back.
