Gala Cafe

Had a late lunch here with my mum, staff were really friendly and welcoming. The food was freshly preachers, nicely presented &, most importantly, tasted really good.

I tried the French toast and my partner ordered the gala big breakfast, portion size is excellent and the price is slightly less in comparison to other cafes in the area. The French toast left me speechless as I was shoveling food into my mouth the whole time I have never had a better French toast. It could probably do with a bit more bacon but I just love bacon. Not bad. Will be back.

This is the only cafe we found around that area, every time we got disappointed by the food or beverages. I tried their salad, pasta, dumplings in few occasions but I got disappointed by that each time. I'm not a coffee drinker but all my colleagues hated that. Their service was great though. Maybe they should get a new chef

The service is great and the food is always worth going in for. Parking is at a premium in the area although there is visitor parking outside in Edwin street building or park on Mt Eden road.
