I dont ever use fullers during the working week as ive seen firsthand how full the ferry can get in the morning and evenings with workers commuting to and from home and work. We often use fullers as a leisure thing. My children enjoy the short commute and using their imagination while on the boat. We often ferry into devonport on the weekends to have brunch and a stroll along the beach. On the odd occassion we will also ferry into auckland city and catch a shuttle bus to silo park and spend the day there before ferrying back. Its not expensive at all which is why I have no issues ferrying often.

Staff and service tend to be very good and consistent, lovely big boats, but the price is a letdown, with a ticket to Rangitoto costing roughly the same as one to Waiheke, for a much shorter journey.
