El Humero Colombian-style Barbecue Restaurant

This place came of BIG recommendation from Colombian friends, the meat was incredible and staff friendly. My only issue? The accompanying sauces! When being served meat and generally a form of carb (as there are no veggies etc) the sauce needs to be flavorful and abundant, unfortunately it was neither.

I have really enjoyed dining here. Great food and prices. Highly recommended if you're in this area one night.

If you want steak everyday,this is the place to be. Their steak & sides are superb. Also, their staff are very accomodating as well. You can’t go wrong dining here.

Tonight we had yet another excellent meal at this small flame grill barbecue where we have eaten often over the last three or four years. Might even be the best steaks we have ever eaten this side of Buenos Aires. Truly a delight, the friendly atmosphere and service make this a favourite restaurant for us in Takapuna where to be fair there are several really good restaurants. Anyone visiting the area should make a point of going and those who live in the area and who have not eaten there are missing out.

Absolutely delicious food nothing to complain about there food. Lovely atmosphere, lovely decorations and very clean environment with friendly and fun staff. Sad that its almost always busy though :(
