Ebisu

Was a great dinner to have for my graduation with the family. A little pricey but was a nice way to treat everyone

I go to Ebisu regularly and this is simply due to the incredible food and amazing service, it never lets you down. On this occasion, we visited Ebisu to celebrate getting residency in New Zealand and buying a house on the same day - towards the end of the meal the waiter asked if we were celebrating something, we got chatting for ages. He then gave us free dessert wine and a dessert platter to say congratulations - made the night even better.

Beef Tatami or Teriyaki Chicken like nowhere else. The chef has added a special ingredient, truffle, which elevates these dishes to another level.

Portion is on the light side and difficult to find parking in vicinity. Food tasted ok..

I came across this restaurant after a Breakers game as it was the only eatery open nearby at the time. They have a great menu with a range of exotic Japanese dishes to select from. The setup is very nice which makes you feel like you've gone to San Francisco for the evening. The dining experience is highly commendable.
