The Devonport Stone Oven Bakery & Cafe is always good for a visit. However, the Italian Minestrone Tomato Soup was not the best, needs more love, garlic and oregano.

Been around for a long time, good coffee and counter food if youre in a rush but also do a great breakfast. Large selection to choose from and everything is well priced and yummy. Large area inside although could do with a little update

First time here. Four of us had breakfast and none were disappointed. Good quality ingredients used and we all went away satisfied if not a little full from the hearty, not to mention delicious meals we had. Highly recommend if you are in or close to the Devonport area, otherwise as all Aucklanders know it can be a pain traffic wise to get there. Pity its not more centrally located on the shore as we most certainly would frequent it more often. However that said if you choose a fine day, unlike us, dodging the downpours, and make the most of it you could happily while away a few hours wandering the quaint township before or after your visit here.

The food here is delicious although it is quite overpriced. You can always enjoy great service and an excellent experience at this monumental cafe in Devonport. The cabinet food is less expensive so I would recommend that if you are going in on a tight budget.

Friendly staff and great environment. We had seafood chowder, prawn and squid and lamb. Seafood chowder is amazing! The other two dishes are wonderful too. worth to try.
