Countdown Supermarkets

Not a bad range of products. But it's always too busy! The place nearly needs traffic lights in the aisles, I've considered getting trolley insurance. A nod to the check-out staff though, service with a smile.

This is my go-to supermarket on the way back to the city. While their offering is usually very good, it can get really messy at peak time. Their fresh produce is generally fresh and you can always find what you're looking for.

Generally buy online through this store always seem out of stock with a lot of products.

A large Countdown branch with good location in Great South Road. Their spacious car park is shared with McDonalds. A lot of lots. This supermarket has its own butchery inside. Reasonable prices, qualified selection of products for us. A good supermarket. Staff are friendly and helpful when we need any assistance. Would like to purchases over there again.

This is a large Countdown branch located at the busy Great South Road & Green Lane intersections. The spacious carpark is shared with McDonalds. The supermarket itself has large seafood, bakery, butchery and deli counters inside. There are lots of helpful employees on hand and on Fridays there are yummy samples to test.
The online pick up grocery option is good too. With efficient staff who are quick to learn their regulars.
