Countdown Supermarkets

A great supermarket, really large with a huge selection of goods. Make sure you check out the international section, it's one of the biggest we've ever seen.

I really like this Countdown, one of the few that is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It has a great selection of stuff - and a very big wine and beer section also. Perfect for a late night takeaway from the deli, with a bottle of wine. Centrally located and near the motorways too. Has a bakery, deli, butchery and all of the other departments you'd expect. I'm old fashioned - I prefer to use staffed checkouts rather than self service. There are sometimes queues here - it's a busy store - but you do have the choice of which checkouts to use. Recommended.

This is my go-to supermarket in terms of selection and location. It has such great variety but is always jam-packed. Expect Christmas-esque queues on the daily. Just pick an off-peak time to go and it's great!

This is a huge countdown with a really great range off stuff. The have lot of high quality deli and fresh products available. It can be pretty crazy busy you they usually have lots of cashiers open for use. Tricky location between busy main roads as well.
