Colonial Motel

It is one of the best motels I have stayed in South Auckland. You can visibly see that these owners take pride in their business. The cleaning staff were accommodating and friendly. I am going to book again for next weekend as we have a wedding to attend in Pukekohe but will much rather stay at the Colonial Motel.

Location is brilliant, close to motorway on/off ramp. Very clean, recently refurbished. I will be back!

We phoned the morning before we decided to head to Auckland for New Year. They were so easy and accommodating to talk to. On our arrival at 3 p.m we were met with a smile and told that for the same price we were upgraded from a studio unit to a larger unit with a separate bedroom because they remembered from our previous yearly stays that my husband had a shoulder injury. So they put us into the room with a soft top pad to cater for this. Our host showed us the unit which was beautifully upgraded including double glazed windows and door. Noise from the busy road had been a problem but no longer.. you could barely hear any outside sound at all. John came over to welcome us when he arrived back... this motel is our stay of choice ... close to everywhere we need to go... wonderful genuinely friendly owners who ensure every stay is special. Thank you both for yet another comfortable, welcoming, pleasant stay..
