Great Italian pizza right here in browns bay

For farewell dinner for my sister, we tried out a local Italian restaurant in her neck of the woods, Buon Venuti. The aromas of garlic, fresh herbs and pizza dough beckoned is from the street and we were warmly greeted by our amicable waitress and seated.

The restaurant was warmed by their wood fired pizza oven and the interior was beautiful and lightly embellished with Venetian carnival masks. They served gorgeous pizza bread, light and fluffy and crisp on top with Parmesan.

For mains we enjoyed the Petti All’albicocca (chicken with brandy apricot sauce), Fettuccine Salmone, Penne e Fegattini (Penne Chicken Livers) and Penne Peperoncino alla aglio (Penne chilli Napoletana). I thoroughly savoured my chicken and the pasta dishes were a mixed bag. The food was a tad pricey for mixed reviews in the suburbs. I would visit again and want to try their pizzas since the pizza bread was most exquisite!

Excellent service, clean and well presented and meals excellent, definitely be back. If you are looking for authentic Italian food this is a great choice

My son took me here for my birthday earlier this year and I keep going back. Highly recommend the salmon fettuccine. Great service too!
