Recently I've eaten at Sri Pinang on K. Rd, my favourite experience on the night was the maitre d's presence. She walked the floor like we were eating in her house, big smiles, lots of chat and even a hug to end the night (yes I'd had a bit of wine that night).

Nice Malaysian and Chinese mixed restaurant. Very nice owner and they even reminded us of over-ordering. Very considerate and honest.

Awesomely tasty, large portions, no skimping on the meat! Good value and great Malaysian cuisine!

One of the families favourite in New Lynn. Bunga Ray has been there for a long time, serving authentic Malaysian food and it does come at higher price bracket. Their kampong tofu, butter prawns, hainanese chicken are usually our go-to.
