Browns Bay Fisheries

Have been a customer here for so many years, they usually do pretty good and I love their homemade fish cakes. However sometimes the chips have this burnt flavour to them and aren’t consistently enjoyable I guess as the oil is too hot. Still a great fish and chip shop!

Great to pick up a take-away fish and chips and wander across the road to a beach-side table to enjoy the food and the views.

A local fish and chips takeaway which was quite busy on Sundays the day we went. Their service was very fast, friendly, and at a reasonable cost. The battered tarakihi was not too bad.

Long established, they're been running for years. It can get quite busy but they're in a brilliant location for the beach (at the far end towards the police station and pine trees).

A nice take away. The fish is always fresh. Sometimes it tends to get quite busy but the wait is never long.
