food was okayish ,small restrauant long wait time and the staff are paid as little as 7 dollars an hour

The service was a little slow but the wait was worth it.
Simply the best naan I have ever eaten, stunning rice cooked to perfection.
The 2 main courses were divine. And the sizzling platter for 2 was quite outstanding with chicken that melted in the mouth

One of my favourite places for a workday lunch - their specials are great and the food is really good. Definitely one of the better Indian restaurants over the shore.

Very good Indian food in Takapuna, the restaurant is big and it`s not busy. They have good lunch promotions where you can eat one of the mains spending around 17 dollars. The dinner promotions are a lit bit more expensive, something around 22 dollars but they serve more food as well. Take care with the spice, medium is already hot so if you don`t like spice food at all better choose the mild ones. The customer service is more or less, not bad at all but they are straight with closing time so you may be invited to eat fast and leave if you start eating close to their closing time. I do recommend their butter chicken and cheese naans. The overall experience eating there was good.

Good service, cosy interior and great ambience.The meal was outstanding, the tastiest Indian meals we have had in Auckland in a long time. We had a vegetable korma, selection of breads, butter chicken and biryani. We had attentive service, and great drinks.Worth to try. Will be back.
