Best Ugly Bagels

This was the most electrifying and terrifying experience of my life - all because I wanted a bagel (which I didn't even really need). The front eating area looks alright, please note that the music is already at talking volume outside, but wow when you get inside - everything is madness. First of all, the music is at shouting volume. Speaking of shouting, that's exactly what the guy on the till was doing - SCREAMING the orders. I think this was to indicate they were either ready or just had been ordered. It seemed like a habit that had gone quickly from an inside joke at the place to a gimmick, and you could tell because the other staff were just not into it. Even at the front of the line, I stood for more than a minute watching him do things on the till, screaming random fillings the whole time without making eye contact. I think I blacked out during the ordering process but I remember another guy flinging bagels into the ear and me flinching. This was too much and I never want to hear the word HUMDINGER ever again.

A great atmosphere and vibe, fresh and tasty bagels.

Came here for a quick breakfast and we were not disappointed! I’ve been to the Best Ugly Bagels in the Airport, but it was my first time coming here. The vibe kind of reminded me of Depot (which is one of my favourite restaurants - also one of Al Brown’s) I loved being able to see the bagels being made fresh too.I got the King Salmon, the Boss Hog and the King Kong. All of the bagels were really soft and chewy with a crispy outside. The King Kong had a warm bagel with cold caramalised banana whip which was a really nice contrast in both texture and flavour. Will definitely come back if I’m ever looking for a quick breakfast and in the area!

These guys make the best bagels! They have a great variety of toppings and do a great coffee.
