In 1960, John "Jack" Dempsey started Domestic Textile Corporation, a Division of The Dempsey Group, creating quality bedding and bed linen for the Australian market . Opening the first retail store in 1975 under the Bed Bath N Table name, its success led to an expansion into a wider range of home wares. Today, with over 100 stores in Australia and New Zealand, we're still Australian owned and family operated. Like coming to this store and just browsing all the nice things they have. It’s a very tidy store and the staff are welcoming and helpful.

The store is always tidy and colourful when I go in there. I love a lot of their stuff, they are great quality. The staff are always around to help when I can't reach something on the shelves.
