A great day out had with our son here. Very good value for money when you can spend the whole day wandering around.

Fun day out. Best time to visit is first thing in the morning right in time for all the animals breakfasts. They will be up and about usually at this time after breakfast. So much to do and so much to check out. Awesome little cafe and playground, food is a little pricey so you can bring your own lunch packed from home and there are many lovely little places you can eat. Loved watching the tigers being fed. Highlight of the trip. Will be back again soon.

We had a great day out at Auckland Zoo.The grounds are set out beautifully and so much has been updated since I first went a few years ago.Staff are super friendly too.The cafe is very expensive and the coffee wasn't very nice (burnt) but still a great day out was had by all in our group.

Love the Auckland Zoo. Enjoyed my one and only visit so far. Especially liked the elephant enclosure as Wellington Zoo don't have elephants. Great walking tracks. I appreciated that a lot of the animals have vast spaces for their enclosures.
