I purchased an annual pass for myself and my grandchildren, and they love it. Rain or shine, we make frequent visits to the zoo to look at the animals, in particular, the elephants (kids love them).

A lovely zoo and they have really made an effort to make enclosures for the animals that are natural. The park is really well set out and it is easy to get around. High price to get in but if you are there for a full day it is more worthwhile

Had a lovely afternoon here, was very clean and well kept loved the monkeys they are my fav animals loved the gift shop so much on offer

We love visiting the Auckland Zoo. It's easy to spend a whole day here.
The Friends of the Zoo Annual Pass is good value for money and means you can go whenever throughout the year - there is always something different to see. Lots of areas for picnics too.

Highly recommend buying a Friends of the Zoo pass, it means you can enjoy the zoo at a slower pace and really get to know the animals with your children.
