Auckland Zoo

Always a family favourite. Have been visiting for years with nieces and nephews, and now my own children. The animals look happy and well cared for. I enjoy the live feeding shows that they have e.g. with the red pandas, birds etc. There is a cafe onsite and the food prices are ok, not too excessive, but good quality. Lots of water fountains around, and a playground on the grounds for children. Should have more toilet blocks though.

Extremely large and well planned and spread out zoo. Amazing variety of animals and birds. Children friendly environment.

Loved this zoo! Was awesome getting up close to emu and other birds roaming around. Good sized spaces for all animals, great walk. Quite enjoyed seeing elephants.

Lovely day out on our holiday came from the Manawatu and loved seeing all the lovely animals

made a visit to see the elephants got to the enclosure to find they are out back and wont be coming out, if i had know this i would have not gone, it was good to see the other animals tho
