The animals look happy and well rested, and they have ample space to run around in. A cafe on site, and plenty of toilet stops around the premises, handy for when you have little ones.

Great place for a day out, get a years pass for the price of 6 visits and go as often as you like. We pop in and out for an hour or so. Lovely cafe though a little costly. Only downside is the amount of people in school holidays!

The zoo is perfect for a full day activity. Lots of walking and fun activities with the kids. Free car parking available. Huge place!

Love this place it is by far the best zoo we have in New Zealand. We can't wait to come back with our children to share the experience.

A great place to send a lazy Sunday. The animals are all well built enclosures, you can really tell animal welling being is at the forfront of the zoo's staff.
