Awesome zoo with lots to look at and nice enclosures, we went on a rainy day and it was still a good day out

Really enjoyed Auckland zoo with a large variety of animals, birds etc... to see. There are opportunities to feed some of the animals including the giraffes, which was amazing!! The zoo is well presented, clean and spaced out, so if it is busy then there is space for everyone.

its a great zoo, the animals all seem happy and healthy. Parking is quite limited and the food is very expensive ($3 for a paddle pop!) so definitely take a picnic and your own drinks! It was a great day out.
Also, a little tip, when they try to sell you your photos at the end, if you say no they offer them for cheaper

Great place to go. I love the seal show and lions and various other animals. I'm a bit freaked out by the various spiders, but hey there's something for everyone.
