Auckland Zoo

A great day out for any age group as there are so many animals to be viewed. The grounds are well maintained & the facilities are great as there's quite a few cafes & icecream shops to choose from & there's even water fountains where you can refill your water bottle. I would advise to arrive early if you wish to park close to the grounds as parking is quite limited, otherwise another option is to park at M.O.T.A.T and catch the tram along

A good place to visit while in Auckland. However, don't come here on a rainy/cloudy day as all the animals are hiding away. Bit high priced, but still an enjoyable day spent here. Cafe at the zoo is always packed and overpriced.

Just love going there. Its great and fun to go with kids. Love all the animals they have in store there. I'd say defo go there but be in for long walks lol :)

The Auckland Zoo is a family attraction we have been visiting for years throughout the generations. I get a yearly family pass every year and definitely get my moneys worth out of it. The animals, and learning about the conservation of animals is important to me, and passing that knowledge on to my children, nieces and nephews. The animal feeding shows are great.

Im glad we took the time out to go to the zoo while staying in auckland. Amazing array of animals it almost feels surreal seeing these beautiful creatures up close. One of the elephants was being moved while we were walking past was so cool to be up so close. If we lived in auck i would visit regularly! Makes you wonder why you waste so much time shopping...
