I love going into the animates stores and looking at ask the new animals. The only sad thing is you used to be able to pat the rabbits or perch the birds on your shoulder now you have to ask a staff member and you don't feel you can do it for very long because they stay round to supervise your and you know they are busy.

Great pet store, my favorite branch is the Mt Roskill store. They staff are friendly and there is sometimes puppies and kittens on display, which are all so tempting to take home, but I already have a cat.

The Napier store is absolutely fantastic! All of the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. It's always a great trip into Animates.
