The Green Parrot

After reading good reviews decided to pay a visit and despite it not being a busy night which always raises red flags it was totally the opposite. We both had steak chips and veg very small complaint just serve it on warm plates as the vegetables were slighly cold but the steak was cooked to absolute perfection the chips were crispy and the mushroom.sauce was delicious. The service was great as well very friendly staff. If you in the area definately worth a visit.

A good "pub style" dining experience. I was in a large group of ten people. Attention from wait staff was great, meals were served promptly and were reasonably priced. Steak was delicious - juicy and tender.

I read reviews about the steal and had to try it for myself. I ordered the $25 sirloin and it was absolutely delicious. Kids meals were $10 and the American server we had was so very friendly and helpful.

A great welcoming restaurant . Our group was served quickly and everyones meals were given top marks.

We ate here during our stay in Methven and can definitely say we will be back. Staff were wonderful and food was delicious and very reasonably priced. It was much quieter than the other places around town but still lively enough to feel good. Loved it.
