The Ashburton Learning Centre offers second chance learning for adults returning to education. We provide quality, confidential, student-centred learning and education for members of the community seeking to improve their literacy, numeracy and language skills. Our adult learning and education services include classes for: -Numeracy Skills -Critical Literacy -Intensive & Workplace Literacy -Language & Literacy Skills Our environment is customised for adults returning to education, and we cater to multi-cultural and kiwi students who want to improve their interpretation and comprehension skills or simply wish to learn to read, write, spell or work successfully with numbers. We also help adults with learning difficulties. OFFICE HOURS for Ashburton Learning Centre are: Monday to Friday: 9am - 3pm We offer either one on one focused learning or friendly group sessions and provide our students with a caring, nurturing warm environment where people can learn at their own speed. Our tutors are experienced, professional and qualified with a friendly and open demeanour. Ashburton Learning Centre is a Member of Literacy Aotearoa. As well as being a Private Training Establishment (PTE), we are also Category 1 Education Provider with NZQA accreditation. The aim of the Ashburton Learning Centre is to improve the well-being of the community through successful delivery of these skills to adults of all ages.
