      Woodzone was originally established in 1990 by Matthew and Vanessa Vallings as Colonial Woodturning. The name was changed to Woodzone in 1999 when we felt it was necessary to modernize our image.With over 30 years of experience working with solid timber, Matthew has an ever-increasing passion for his work, creating and designing many high-quality pieces.We use all kinds of timber mostly New Zealand natives such as Kauri, Rimu, and Matai, new and recycled. As these resources are becoming more limited, New Zealand grown plantation timbers of high quality are being more widely utilized eg. Eucalyptus Gum and Cypress varieties such as Macrocarpa.

      take plenty of money as this place is amazing. they have everything crafty and gift wise that you could want. the staff are so nice you just want to stay and browse, in my case buy. cant wait to go back
