Homebased Childcare provided in Whakatane, Edgecumbe, Kawerau, Opotiki. Every Waiapu Kids Centre and Homebased Service is Ministry of Education licensed and operates to the highest quality and best practice modelling. Fun, learning, loads of involvement from families and whanau and a wonderfully safe environment is guaranteed for every child that comes to Waiapu Kids. Homebased Childcare available in carefully selected Educators homes for hours to suit family circumstances. Toy and equipment library available for use by Educators to enable children to have ongoing variety and developmentally appropriate equipment and learning opportunities. Playgroups weekly for educators and children in Whakatane, Kawerau and Opotiki. Parents are welcome to attend. We offer weekly gym, library, music sessions and regular group outings. The visiting Teachers are local, registered and experienced, Early Childhood Teachers. Also provide professional development for Educators.
