      We are a family owned and operated local business, passionate about providing both great tasting food and excellent customer service. Our shop is centrally located in Lion Court (off Hazelwoods Car Park) in Upper Hutt. We provide fresh, made to order sandwiches and salads, home baked sweets, pies and savouries and continue this philosophy of freshness and deliciousness to all of our catering platters. Please call us to place or discuss any catering orders. We are able to be flexible with the platter menu to accommodate any of your dietary requirements. For those wanting a coffee break, at Tricky's we use Ripe Coffee's " Pito-One" blend for Espresso prepared the way you like it. We are passionate about flavour and aroma. Try our range of cold brew menu items, including a Vietnamese style, served over ice with condensed milk! We look forward to meeting you soon.

      I just can say Higher Ground is really well done in almost all aspects. The building is amazing with impeccable details. We had brunch on weekdays and it was so packed but still enjoyable.

      Such an amazing place, very different from all the mainstream food joints in Upper Hutt. The staff are always friendly and the service is A+ class. Richard is a true sandwich artist and I highly rate presentation of the final product
